If waiting times are too long, customers easily become unsatisfied. The principle of express-call is to reduce waiting times for service keeping customers happy. Typically the sale of a 1-2 additional drinks per table per month will cover the cost. This is a low cost considering the increase of customer satisfaction. Experience shows that turnover can easily be increased too.
You can use the system on practically any device that has a browser and is connected to the internet. If you already own a PC, tablet or any mobile device then you are good to go in using express-call.
No there is no need to download an app or install any software. The guest only needs to scan the QR code on top of the table and will then be able to access the express-call user interface where they can select for the services you chose to offer during the setup.
It’s simple: subscribe to express-call! We can integrate different and existing providers in one QR code.
An internet connection is required to use express-call. This can be accessed by using the mobile service provider of the guest or a guest WiFi that you may provide optionally.
Typically your staff is already under high pressure with the multiple tasks assigned to them! express-call is developed to relieve your staff from continuously watching out for service requests from guests and to allow them to focus on other items. express-call is highly useful where eye contact to the guest is not possible (e.g multiple restaurant rooms, outside locations, etc.).
The most awkward thing many customer experience is calling the attention of service staff to place orders. express-call eliminates this pressure from your guest making them enjoy your restaurant and facilities even more. Use express-call to further optimise your service.
During the setup process for your facilities, we provide various customized printing options w.r.t. size and text. QR codes are then to be placed at each service location so they can be easily scanned by guest. Should your require the same code multiple times, e.g. at very long tables, these QR codes can be copied/printed multiple times too. QR codes which are damaged or lost can be re-printed at any later time too.
QR codes can be generated in many different sizes and customisable text depending your personal taste. Due to the infinite number of possibilities for stands, we do not offer attachment solutions. However, we recommend you to go to any online shopping platform offering stands and search for appropriate attachment methods, e.g. www.amazon.com, www.AliExpress.com etc. By the way, you can even print QR codes on stickers in different sizes and quality.
The guest will be redirected to a page listing the services you wish to provide (e.g. Request menu, service staff, bill, etc.). The list of services provided is defined by you during the setup process.
It is our aim to assist you with data to optimize your workflow and locations. You will easily identify highly and lowly frequented locations to optimize staff deployment.

FAQ – Setup
Together with our order confimation, your log in account will be activated. You will receive an e-mail to guide you to the setup process. Typical software setup time using our templates for a single restaurant is 20 min.
Setup times depend on the number of tables and branches. In order to minimise setup, we provide standardised setup templates once registered. Typical software setup time using our templates for a single restaurant is 20 min. Additional time for printing QR codes and positioning at tables needs to be allocated.
The client administrator defines the rights/role of his staff. User rights can be allocated to full functionality or to monitoring only. During the setup process we provide sample/suggestions to assist you.
Multiple users with individual user rights can be assigned by your administrator.
If you purchase the PRO package, we offer centralized administration and monitoring of e.g. multiple restaurants in multiple cities.
Service requests can monitored through any display device with access to the internet including a browser, e.g. PC, tablet, mobile phone, smart TV, etc. Depending on the login credentials and user rights, different content can be displayed, e.g. Pending service requests, statistics . We also provide a dashboard view for displaying current requests.
Users with administration rights can suspend activities on various levels, e.g. complete facility/restaurant, or specific service area/ individual QR locations.
Yes you can. Individual monitoring of these areas can be assigned to staff flexibly.
If you are a hotel owner and a restaurant owner, please create a separate account for each area. This will keep the monitoring between the two areas clear.

Please login as administrator in order to add or remove tables at anytime.
This can e.g. be useful for outside tables during summer/winter season. Simply login as administrator and activate/deactivate checkboxes next to tables.
